how do i unlock the pages listed in permalink manager as locked for editing. All my site pages are there but the permalinks are destroyed after the last WP update.

I think if the pages are unlocked for editing, I can republish them to reset the links.

    Hi @flyfisher842,

It seems that “auto-update” mode is turned on. To disable it and allow the manual updates you need to turn it off in the plugin settings. You can find more information on this feature in the below article:
    https://permalinkmanager.pro/docs/basics/automatically-update-the-permalinks/

Whatever the “auto-update” mode is, the “Regenerate/reset” tool will work exactly the same way. You can use it at any time to reset your custom permalinks.

If this does not help please provide me with more details, so I can suggest you a different solution.

    Best regards,
    Maciej

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have to manually fix some of the pages with missing background images but the refresh help with other links. Thanks for the help. I think the 5.7.1 WP update may have been the problem as I had a different site also lose the featured image after the update.
