    Hello,

thank you for sharing this mod.

Did I understand it correctly that the unlinked user installation have all main features of the plugin, so that I can transfer after it the users, they can log in in both phpbb and wordpress – if the user change the password or mail adress – will this synced between the both systems? Last topics can I use in wordpross.
But I have to set a path to a config.php with credentials of phpBB and the users can’t use an single sign on – right?

I use phpBB 3.0 for some reasons and the latest wordpress. So that should no problem, correctly?

Thank you for your help ??

    Greats Thomas

Hello! As unlinked you can transfer users between phpBB and wp, yes
(check that to do a correct transfer of all users as the code is at this time, if it return some warning on inline log while transferring, reporting duplicated user or email found, and you’re transferring let say 500 users x time, and the log display, that for example after 250 found email/username issue error, last 250 on queue aren’t transferred: so you need to repeat from begin the transfer, after you’ve fixed the reported problem about duplicate email/username or email association issue).

But I have to set a path to a config.php with credentials of phpBB and the users can’t use an single sign on – right?

if i’ve well understand: yes the path that need to point to a valid phpBB config.php file. As not linked, you can transfer users, but they aren’t linked in any way after the transfer if you not change the option (that will be added on plugin admin page as soon, and the plugin improved under several aspects). You need to change this option to link users via cookies between phpBB and WP.

About old phpBB version: i’ve not test it in true, but i assume main vars involved are same, and in case of not linked installation, since no update or insert on tables are done, then all should work.
    If any problem just post
