Unknown users starting with “cron”

Wordfence does not create admin users with that prefix, or cron users on your server for that matter. I think the best course of action from here is to try another scan, then send us a diagnostics report.

For your scan, ensure all scan option checkboxes are selected (high sensitivity scan), then run it and see what feedback you get.

After this, please send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com. You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
