Unknown text on background of every page

    Hello,

    On my site the text pPJqL_XCgyQiaXBLyjzf7d8dwrAeeA8oZa0BGEp3tvM appears on every page on the top left corner. It is not a link and I can’t seem to figure out how to get rid of it. I’m still finding my way around WordPress and intro coding, so any help would be great. When I inspect the element with chrome this is what appears… but i can’t find the text anywhere in my php or css files?

  • Have you tried temporarily disabling all plugins and then checking to see if the unknown text disappears?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Thank you both! I deactivated all the plugins (received 3 calls from members over 5 minutes that the site was down), but the problem is gone!

    Not exactly sure which one was causing the issues, but I narrowed it down to a Members Only plugin or Twitter Tracker. I’m thinking it is Members Only, since I’ve never used twitter tracker, either way, both are gone and so is the text line.
