Unknown Script Loaded – Redirection to Kapersky

    I have Astra v2.6.1 installed and it is loading a script that is causing the website to load very slowly. Upon closer inspection, I found that a script is inserted by Astra into the website

    As you can Kaperskey is being called for whatever reason. It shouldn’t be there. How do I know that this is to be true and not the website itself, I activate the default WP theme 2020 and the issue disappeared.

    Before I tested this, I disabled all other plugins as well so that the only variable left is the theme.

    So my question to Astra, why are you doing this? Why is this piece of code injected into the theme for no apparent reason?

    There’s no such code in the Astra theme. You can check it by downloading the Astra theme. You will not find the same code anywhere in the theme’s files.

    However, if you believe the code has been injected into the Astra theme, I would suggest you delete and reinstall the Astra theme. Furthermore, you might want to check this article and follow what explains in the article.
