    I have been using Photonic for some time now, I created a new blog post yesterday and embed a gallery form Zenfolio. I noticed an “unknown error” showing in place of the gallery and it looks like all my older articles are now showing the same error. I have updated the shortcode to custom one instead of the default gallery shortcode. I installed the plugin on another site to test and same results. Anyone else experiencing issues with Zenfolio galleries? I tested a Flickr gallery I have and it shows fine.

    OK, since it does work on one of your BlueHost sites I can only postulate that the problem is with BlueHost, and that probably the file replacement was not done properly.

    What I can do is I will package this up and release a new version of the plugin. You can update via your WP dashboard then.

    So after I changed the file I received an email from Bluehost support that they changed some things and fixed the issues so I am not sure if it was the file change ot Bluehost changes that has it working again. They said the issue was with the cache and zenfolio connection, they purged the cache and resaved the zenfolio connection settings and it worked after that.

    Thanks for this info. But I don’t think that whatever BlueHost did was responsible for the changed behaviour. Another user confirmed almost 30 hours back that the fix had worked for them – without BlueHost updating anything. The best way to verify this would be to replace the new version of the file with the old version – if what BlueHost did works, then the old version of the file should work.

    In any case, you have the plugin working, so that is a good thing.

    Okay, please let me know as soon as the plugin is updated and I will try that. Any idea why my featured images are not showing and when I got into a post to reset they do not save, and all previously entered Yoast SEO info on each post is not gone and also won’t save? Could Bluehost’s not doing your update correctly somehow cause this? Thanks.

    Photonic in absolutely no way touches featured images or data of any other plugins. I have no idea why you are facing the issues you are facing – I can help you with Photonic-related issues, but the others are quite beyond my scope.
