    Hiya,

    I had Google Site Kit working fine on this site until recently, however it’s now showing the following error:

    “Oops! There was a problem during set up. Please try again.
    Unknown Error (code: cURL error 7: ).”

    I can’t see any related errors in console, I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the plugin as well.

    Any ideas? ??

    Thanks for opening a support topic.

    Based on the error message it sounds like there may be action required at host level in order for Site Kit to successfully connect. Can you share your Site Health information privately via this form while including your current hosting provider where requested?

    After sharing your Site Health information please share whether you have any firewall or hosting security feature active on your site if known.
