Sorry, but “instagram code” could mean several things:

1. It could mean the code that is written in the plugin’s Instagram module – if you have software development skills, you can look into the plugin’s code. There are no restrictions to using the code – it is GPL’d. But I cannot help you with using it elsewhere.
2. It could mean the access token that is returned by Instagram. You can copy that from Photonic → Settings → Instagram → Instagram Settings →
   Instagram Access Token.

And how would you use it “with the api”?

That will not work. Practically all the code is “necessary”. If the authentication between Photonic and Instagram is broken (see the link I posted in my first response), it wouldn’t matter what code you used from Photonic – you wouldn’t be able to pull the information from Instagram.
