    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

Since You have implemented Google Analytics tracking code via GTM on your store, you haven’t enabled “Add Universal Analytics Tracking code” for our plugin.

Which is resulted into “ga is not defined” error on your store (screenshot) & our plugin is unable to send any call to your GA account.

    Reason :

Our plugin works/fetches the data based on the tracker (‘ga’ in the case of Universal Analytics script used in our plugin). While you implement the Analytics script via GTM Tag, the script in your store may not be able to initialize the tracker, which in turn will hinder the plugin from populating insights in your Analytics account.

    Solution :

Remove Analytics script Tag from your store and enable “Add Universal Analytics Tracking code” option for our plugin & analyze the data for next couple of days & get back to us if you find any issues.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks & Regards!

    Hello,

Thank you for your quick response.

We have completely removed the GTM tag and things worked fine.

Can you please confirm that the UA and EC snippets will only be embedded in the page source if I’m browsing not from an admin account?

It seems like I can see the code only via Incognito tab, and can’t see it while I’m logged in as an admin.

    Please advise.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Eliran,

Thank you for getting back to us!

We did a quick look of your store again & found that our plugin is working well now.

Additionally, to avoid sending your own transaction data or sessions data in Google Analytics, our plugin doesn’t send the data to GA when you are logged in as an admin.

We request you to analyze the data for next couple of days & get back to us if you find any issues.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks & Regards!

    Hello again guys,

    1) In last page in the WooCommerce sales funnel (Order Completed), what happens if the client will refresh his page? will it send another transaction to GA and result in discrepancies of Enhanced eCommerce data?

Or is there some built-in protection on your module to avoid duplicate orders/data on GA?

    2) Can you please specify how can we tell what are the “Funnel Steps” in our EEC setup?

    Many thanks,
    Eliran

    Hi Eliran,

Thank you for getting back to us!

Find the below comments regarding you queries:

    1) In last page in the WooCommerce sales funnel (Order Completed), what happens if the client will refresh his page? will it send another transaction to GA and result in discrepancies of Enhanced eCommerce data?

Our Plugin is designed in such a way that the Purchase call is fired only once to the respective analytics account, the reloading won’t affect the Enhanced eCommerce data!.

    2) Can you please specify how can we tell what are the “Funnel Steps” in our EEC setup?

You only need to specify the checkout funnel steps label name in your Google Analytics account.

Here is the sequence in which checkout steps fire by our plugin:

Step 1: When user lands on checkout Page ( Label Name : Checkout View)
Step 2: When user focuses on billing form field called “First Name” (Label Name : Billing Address)
Step 3: When user clicks on “Proceed To Pay” button (Label Name : Proceed To Pay)

    Hope this addresses your concern!

    Thanks & Regards!
