• Hello
I’m an italian newbie in WP so don be hungry if I ask stupid questions. ??

I have installed WP3.01 and activeted network version.
It will be a blog system for an association with a lot of local unites for each city (about 200 blogs) and 2 or 3 main blogs.

    FIRST QUESTION
    A) I will have multi blogs for each local site but I would like have a single login of the users so they can navigate in all the sites (but can write only in the site of their own city.

    How I can do it?

    B) I would like upload all the users (about 2.000) from a XLS or CSV file. There is some plugin that do that?
or can I import by PHPmyadmin?

    Thanks for your help

  • hi there,

@andrea concerning grisus question a): where is this functionality?

I operate a WP3.01. blog with several subdomains. I want that new users can register FOR A SUBDOMAIN ONLY without having access to the main blog.
If I allow registration on a subdomain blog the users are redirected to the main registration site.
Each time I add a user manually on a subdomain blog, he/she also appears in the user list of the main blog. Is there a way to avoid this?

    No.

they’re added globally to the whole network. The OP was asking about global logins for the entire site, which is what it does by default.
