Unique headers not working in child theme

    The unique headers plugin works fine in the parent them talon. However when creating a child theme talon-child the unique header images do not display.
    Any suggestions how to solve the issue?
    Do I need to add any special code to functions.php for the unique headers to work in a child theme?

    Files in talon-child them:
    404.php
    footer.php
    function.php
    header.php
    home.php
    index.php
    style.css

  • I use default WP themes twenty sixteen, seventeen and plugin works fine with child themes without any extra coding.
    Create WP twenty-sixteen child theme on your page and use Unique header plugin. if plugin works fine on twenty-sixteen child theme for you, then ask talon theme support for your Q.
    Else if your plugin doesn’t work on default twenty-sixteen, check if you set your child theme good, as it works for me.
