I also tried this plugin but it’s not working, so i think you have to contact unique-headers support.

It is not working because you haven’t coded the theme to support header backgrounds in a way this plugin needs it. The classical way.

Or are you 100% sure your theme has been coded right?

I think the plugin depends a lot on the theme being coded the right way. I’ve done quite some testing and I can assure you the fix lies not with that plugin but in your theme its code. Xd

All themes don’t support all plugins, and this is a free theme not paid.
I want to say that this theme is approved by WordPress so it has been coded right, otherwise this theme would not get approved by WordPress.

All themes hosted on www.remarpro.com have to pass a very strict coding review – both when they are first submitted and again on every update. This theme will have been coded according to www.remarpro.com standards. Try asking the plugin’s developer about this issue (plugins do not undergo the same level of quality review at this time).

(plugins do not undergo the same level of quality review at this time).

If you don’t mind me asking why is this so?

Plugins are too complex to undergo that sort of review. There aren’t enough people (in particular, qualified people) to review them all.

Agreed. 30,000 plugins and a very small plugin review team who are very over-worked as it is.

This theme does not use the standard ways of handling WordPress headers.

@ryan Hellyer: Can you point me at the relevant code block and I’ll look into it. If necessary I can take this up with the Theme Review team.

Don’t worry, I’m already chatting to Chip about it at the moment.

EDIT: the code is in the header.php file if you are interested.

Theme developer has been contacted regarding the XSS vulnerability, and the Theme has been suspended in the directory pending the issue being fixed.

Regarding the Theme’s handling of custom headers: the Theme doesn’t claim to support the Custom Header Image feature; rather, it has a custom logo option. This is acceptable, because custom header images and logo images are two different things.

For future reference when searching for Themes: if you want a Theme that supports Custom Header Images, look for Themes with the “custom-header” keyword. Any Theme with that keyword uses the Custom Header image feature, and does so via implementing the core method for that feature.
