Unique Headers doesn't work with Kippis Template

Have installed the Unique Header and the suggested Taxonomy Metadata and activated both. Can see the custom header option on Pages and have tested on two pages but default header is the only one that appears on ALL Pages. Custom Headers option is enabled.
Is there something with the KIPPIS theme that is preventing the plugin from working or have I missed a step?
