    Hi myjotternetworks,

    True, if somebody found out what the exact URL is to your downloadable file anybody could download it.
    But, be aware that this would be the same as if you would upload a file to the WP media library and put that URL as the link for the download (which is a usual case).

    When a customer downloads the file on the order-received page, he will not click on a ‘Dropbox’ URL. Instead, WooCommerce creates a unique URL with a unique Key variable so the customer will never see it came from Dropbox.

    Hope this clears up any doubt you may have.
