    The part about wp-config.php looks correct. Dropping tables as well, provided you do not want any sub-site content anymore. Merging sub-site content with your main site is problematic because of redundant IDs.

    The part about editing .htaccess does not look right. If you’ve done the other measures, simply delete the existing wordpress portion of the file, then visit the permalinks settings admin screen and WP will create the right entry.

    I’m not merging, so I won’t need to worry about that. (I moved the content I needed individually, then deleted the sub-site.)

    I found a better site and it worked. This is for anyone needed to do the same thing as me.
