Uninstalled plug-in causing blank widgets

Hi all,

I’m currently working on a child theme. I installed Widget Logic which works fantastically and with the following code made it only appear on my homepage: is_front_page()

I then installed a plug-in (which is now removed) that would let me manually arrange my posts: Organize Series. After I installed Organize Series blank widgets appeared on all my pages. I tried the following:

1) Uninstalled and deleted the plug-in Organize Series
2) Deactivated and reactivated Widget Logic

The blank widgets are still there. Nothing appears to have changed in the CSS. I tried “display:none” to see what would happen; the widget disappears but the space remains. My website is in the testing phase so I haven’t installed it to my website yet. If you can help please let me know, any suggestions welcomed. Thanks!
