    Hey Srvr4sb,

That would be because the theme you’re using is bundled with the BB Lite Version. If there is no option to remove that notice, you may need to get in touch with the theme dev for a way to. ??

hmm, I’m using the SiteOrigin Page Builder that came with Tesseract Version: 2.1.2 — i’m unaware of any bundling of BB Lite Version with Tesseract since it already has SiteOrigin Page Builder, I’ve removed the other themes and still get ‘bugged” by the beaver message..

BTW: I just watched the Tesseract video and no mention is made of the BB Lite Version in his screen shots within the tutorial. So, I’m pretty certain it did not come with Tesseract.. Since, I’ve removed all the other themes I don’t know how to get this BB Lite Version out of the picture.

It would not appear that Tesseract had anything to do with it.

    Hey Srvr4sb,

What you can do is switch to a different theme and you’ll see that notice goes away. You can also head over to Appearance > Install Plugins and you’ll see the BB plugin is recommended.

I just downloaded the latest version of the theme under https://tyler.com/ installed it on my local dev, and it didn’t come with the SiteOrigin Page Builder. I’m also getting the same notice as you since I had BB disabled. ??

I prefer not to change the theme, since the Tesseract Version: 2.1.2 is the one I am attempting to learn & use. About the other thing that might be an issue, is, the slow response to the question I posted for the author.

BB Lite Version DOES NOT SHOW IN THE Tesseract Version: 2.1.2 TUTORIAL.

    Thanks

    Hey Srvr4sb,

We’re very sorry to hear about the issues here and really wish there was something we could do to help you out. Unfortunately, that theme notice is out of our hands completely as we didn’t build that theme nor are we affiliated with it in any way.

The theme author (https://tyler.com/) has included/bundled our Lite version in their theme which is why you are getting that notice even after removing our Lite version. Really, the only way to remove that notice would be to contact the theme author directly.

Again, apologies for any inconvenience there and please let us know if we can assist further in any way.

    Best,
    Billy

    ok

What Billy Young says is complete and utter nonsense.

I was using Tesseract just fine until I inadvertently downloaded the Beaver Builder.

It is NOT bundled with the theme and there is no mention of it whatsoever.

It is an absolute con on the part of Beaver Builder.

If I wasn’t getting these warnings prior to installing it, but was after I uninstalled it, their uninstall deliberately leaves crap behind.

This is a dishonest and disgraceful practice.

Legally, I also believe that that this is just plain wrong.

Failure to find a solution is going to result in me publicising this issue far and wide.

    Hey rallyline,

I’m sorry to hear about the poor experience. I know you don’t believe us, but the Tesseract theme does recommend Beaver Builder in wp-admin using TGM Plugin Activation. Here are some screenshots to hopefully clear that up for you.

This is a screen shot of the file required-plugins.php in Tesseract’s importer folder. In it you’ll see that they are using TGM to recommend Beaver Builder…

This is a screenshot of a search in the Tesseract theme folder showing that they include custom Beaver Builder modules…

This is a screenshot showing that they have a tutorial video on their website showing how to install Beaver Builder…

Hopefully that’s enough proof that the issue is on their end and not ours. We would never do anything malicious as that’s definitely not how we want to be portrayed in the community. If you could please have a look at the screenshots and consider adjusting your review, we would greatly appreciate it.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Justin

    Hello
I have another issue with a site I have put together https://www.caregiversadvantage.com , Using https://tesseracttheme.com/ After I put the site together for the most part. They inform me that some of the issue must be because I did not download after the fact of beaverbuilder.com as a plugin. Tesseract has not been alot of help. I am fearful that if I put in beaver builder as the plugin that all of the site will be lost. I need to clean up the home page by adding the title above the call to action buttons center right of women and also get those call to actions working properly
https://www.caregiversadvantage.com is the site. Here is my Dashboard https://gator4076.hostgator.com/~sanrgy1/caregiversadvantage.com/wp-admin/

Any input is appreciated from your professional experience

    I cannot Thank you enough

    Regards

    Mark
