I don’t know what installation was previously on my domain, however I’m having problems installing a fresh installation. I don’t know if I uninstalled it incorrectly, but I deleted the correct database and deleted all the files in my root folder.

Did I do anything wrong here?

Now that I’ve deleted everything, I’ve gone to Fantastico and it gives me this error when I try to install WordPress again…

“The installation can not be completed:

    – You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.”

Any help? Thank you in advanced!

see if there is index.php on your root, if the install DIR of WordPress was a different one, you might have left it there.
Also chek if ALL the tables were dropped

Why are you using Fantastico ? you do not have a direct access with FTP and a DB control panel (like PhPmyAdmin?)

What do you mean by ALL tables? Where would I check to see if all of those were dropped?

Fantastico saves the information about installed software in its folder. You may try to search for this entry and remove it manually.

Of course, you can install WP without Fantastico.

if you are doing this manually you will need to delete the following from your server
.fantasticodata folder inside delete the wordpress folder or it’s contents
    delete fantver.txt or similar
    delete fantver.php or similar
now either drop the tables in your database or change the table prefix in wp-config.php to something else
    run install again
