Uninstall ReadyGraph.com links
-
Is there a way to uninstall ReadyGraph.com links from bottom of box?
-
Goto plugins in WP content plugins via your FTP manager
goto Subscribe2 directory
Delete Readygraph.php
Delete Extensions folderRefresh your blog.
you will get a message something like this that tells you where the hook is
Warning: include(readygraph-extension.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/mapwaveanalysis.com/mapwaves/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/subscribe2.php on line 88 Warning: include(): Failed opening ‘readygraph-extension.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/hsphere/shared/apache/libexec/php5ext/php/’) in /hsphere/local/mapwaveanalysis.com/mapwaves/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/subscribe2.php on line 88
SO DON’T BELIEVE THE BULL THAT THE PLUGIN AUTHOR TELLS YOU – THE HOOK IS THERE AND THEY GET YOUR USER BASE WHILST YOU THINK YOU HAVE UNLINKED IT!
Edit Subscribe2.php and remove line 88 and save.
JOB DONE – FORGET THE CRAP THE AUTHOR TELLS YOU! THEY GET PAID NO DOUBT PER ADDRESS THEY SELL OTHERWISE WHY THE FUSS TO PUT IN AN UNINSTALL OPTION????
I am really disappointed with this as well as the Subscribe2 plugin. I deleted the Readygraph plugin and deactivated it on my site, and also disabled everything on the readygraph site, but did not find a way to delete my account (and email list) all together. Despite doing this, Readygraph is still emailing me and all of my constituents! With “notifications” of random people that have “joined our community”. This is unacceptable. It has caused a huge problem because now our constituents think our database has been hacked. Am hoping Maphorn’s instructions above will work. Very unethical in my opinion. I need to know that my constituents emails have been completely deleted and not given to any other party for use.
Don’t install this whatever you do! Poor decision on the part of both WordPress and Subscribe2 to allow this.
Based on your wordpress handle, I believe we found the issue and fully deleted your account. To confirm, can you please email [email protected] with the URL of your site and the email you signed up with?
Site owners have full control over engagement emails, but admittedly the settings are not as easy to find as they should be. We are releasing a tutorial plus revamped settings page within the next few days. Sorry for your frustration!
I have sent the email you requested from the address that we signed up with and with our URL.
I also sent the email our subscribers are receiving from you. It is a “Notifications” email showing people that have “joined our community” however, these are not people that are in our organization so I am now concern we have people subscribing that we don’t want. Do I now also need to edit the code in the subscribe2.php plugin? If so please let me know which lines to modify (since my line 88 is different as I had to make some previous modifications).
I had previously checked every setting possible in my account and disabled all. I also deleted the readygraph-extension.php today after reading the above thread, which still resided on my FTP site even after I deactivated and deleted the plugin.
Please confirm that my subscribers will no longer receive any emails from you or any other third party.
Thank you!
@ca Clarion and anyone who wants to uninstall readygraph,
You can uninstall the Readygraph, by clicking Delete Readygraph option in top right corner.
If you have specific queries, email readygraph or create separate threads.
To stop every emails from readygraph, please email your details to [email protected]
How much I hope I can read this before I registered myself using readygraph. This is just like a software that asking users to use but cannot remove after trial.
Please help. I have sent a few messages and email, there is no response to my questions.
I went to the Readygraph online setting page, trying to remove the link that I used BUT it will never remove from my database. I thought I have already stopped it and my users will no longer see it but I am wrong after a user still asking how to remove their info from the link.
1) The problem is I can’t even find the plugin that is install in my page database. How to remove?
2) I can’t even see there is any directories on Subcribe2 in my wordpress plugin. How to remove?
– I think I installed plugin “Email Newsletter” and now even I have removed the plugin, I can’t find the place to remove ready graph.
3) How can we know how many users already subscribe to our page?
4) How can we ensure their database or they won’t be able to receive anything from ReadyGraph.
Thank You and Please help.
It is suggested to create your own thread rather if you any need specific thing to be done. This thread is for different purpose and it is closed now. Please create your thread so that we can address the issue.
I would also suggest people start another thread if I was the plugin author to hide my incompetence and devious business practices!
At a guess do the same thing I suggested –
search for ready graph folder within the plugin folder where this crap was installed from and DELETE the folder complete.
Also search for readygraph.php and delete that. Then when you open the site it will tell you cant run…..
with the page and line number.Open that with notepad++ or similar editor and delete the appropriate lines!
You can try the maphorn’s suggestion at your wish. But there is a simpler way around this. If you are connected on readygraph-app page, on top right corner there is an option to delete all the files and hooks for you.
And, to stop all the outgoing mail from readygraph, drop a mail to [email protected]
Look plugin author – we have already been through this crap and your persistence is unbelievable!
WE THE USERS SHOULD NOT BE CONED INTO YOUR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. WE HAVE ALREADY ESTABLISHED YOUR WAY STILL GIVE YOU ACCESS TO OUR DATA. YOU HAVE ALREADY SAID YOU WILL ADD IN AN UNINSTALL FEATURE OVER A WEEK AGO – STOP WASTING YOUR TIME HERE AND WALK YOUR TALK INSTEAD OF JUST TALKING CRAP THE WHOLE TIME!
Nope sorry there is no such option. The only options I get are account, password and logout. Come on you cant be that out of touch with your own page.
@maphorn, I deleted the entire subscribe2 folder from my FTP but am still getting the annoying social bar at the bottom of the screen.
@tanaylakhani, I tried disabling the bar from your website, but it still keeps popping up.
Yesss!!!!! It worked! just got rid of the html code I had embedded on the top of my header page. The bar is gone.
