If you uninstall the BoldGrid plugins, editing the content created with them will default back to the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) or classic editor, depending on what you have enabled. However, you will lose access to some of BoldGrid’s unique features. You can still edit the content, but BoldGrid’s advanced design options, like block editing and custom grid layouts, won’t be available.
If your pages used any BoldGrid-specific shortcodes, those shortcodes will remain visible in the content, but they will not function. You would need to manually remove them or reformat those sections but if you decide to reinstall the BoldGrid plugins later, your content and formatting will be recognized, and you can continue editing as before. BoldGrid will automatically recognize any previously created content and allow you to resume block and grid-based editing.
