• Hi,

I know how to uninstall and deactivate plugins. But what i’m trying to do is re-install a plugin that i already uninstalled…but when i do, it still has the same settings as it did before i uninstalled the plugin. I have even deleted the plugin file manually, but it still keeps the settings when re-installing.

How can i completely wipe out any traces of a plugin before re-installing, so that it doesn’t hold on to the old settings?

Any help would be great. THANKS!

If the plugin didn’t have an uninstall routine, then you can’t unless you edit/delete the changes it made directly in the database.

not if you know what you are doing, but you can seriously mess things if you don’t know what you are doing… However I would suggest you contact the plugin author and see if they can tell you what to look for.
