    Hi,

Just installed WP ERP and added a test employee. I cannot add another emplaoyee as there is no link to do so where the documentation says there is – nor is there anywhere else in the interface.

When I added the test employee WP ERP changed my admin name and email and now, when I try to log in, I only get WP ERP menu on left. Nothing else.

I have completely lost access to my WordPress site back end because when I log in as an admin user, I am recognised at the test employee and have access to nothing.

Someone please help me uninstall this awful software as they do not have any uninstall documentation on their website. I will not be recommending this software on my blog.

I will have to go FTP route, I think.

    Paul

And it has also demoted my admin user, so that I cannot access admin pages.

    1. Deleted the plugin files using FTP.
    2. Deleted all database entries.
    3. Created a new admin user thanks to (https://wpengine.com/support/add-admin-user-phpmyadmin/)
    4. Logged in using new credentials and got my website and my life back.
    5. Vowed never to touch this plugin again.

This should not happen any way @pauldflynn; WP ERP doesn’t have any permission to change the Admin user role. You can provide the Employee rule to the other users only, no the Admin itself.

Admin already has access to all over the functions that WP ERP offers. I’m not sure what caused you the problem unless getting the debug log.

I’m sorry to hear you had that experience!

    Thanks

I have exactly the same problem!

    Hello @ivang69 and @pauldflynn

We were able to figure out the problem. It happens when you add an Employee with the same email as the Admin.

We have already solved this and an updated version will be released very soon.

Meanwhile, for your recovery, you can change the user permission from the database, or contact our support center for further instruction.

    Thanks
