Uninstall disqus, install jetpack

  • Hi guys

    I’ve been using disqus for a month now and i feel it’s kinda useless. I want to get rid of it and install the new comment system that comes with jetpack in wordpress 3.4.

    I deleted the disqus plugin from my installed plugin lists. But it still appears when i go to my website as a normal visitor. If I log in as wp-admin i get the old wp womment system and not the new jet pack comments (though i have enabled it).

    Please help. How can i get the jet pack comments?

  • Hey Irfarious have you found a solution for this problem? After the Disqus problem today worldwide, I’m also moving to Jetpack which possibly has better integration with WordPress since it’s the same people who developed the system.

    Yup I solved this one. The problem was the wp cache plugin. It was not doing what it was supposed to do. The disqus un installation reflected in my website the moment i deactivated the plugin.
