    Could I please have an up-to-date way/process of uninstalling WordFence.
    I can only find misleading instructions with a web search…

    Once done I will do a fresh reinstall, thanks.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delayed reply — near the bottom of the Wordfence options page, turn on “Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation”, and save the options. Then go to the Plugins page, and deactivate Wordfence. In most cases, you can re-activate it again and should have a fresh start — depending on what the original issue was, you could also delete the plugin and install it again. (e.g., if your hosting account ran out of disk space during an update, reinstalling may help.)
