• Looking for any advice out there. We are trying to create a unified header with navigation across 4 different sites within a multi-site install of WordPress. It would be best if there was a way to add this menu through the WordPress interface and not just hard coding it into each child theme file. I have found one plugin that might work but it is part of the WPUMDev suite of plugins and it doesn’t pay to subscribe for only one plugin and this only gives you a box to add in html that goes across all sites. Ideally it would be awesome if you could add a widget and put a menu from the WordPress menus in here.

Has anyone else tried to do this?

    Thanks,
    Becky

  • Hi @becky,
Its batter if you create same menu for different sites, because it will not create any issue when you have different themes on your WP Multi Sites.
If you have same theme then easily we can do this, but As described If you have different themes you can use each site client to make same header changes.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
    Thanks
