Unidentified user publishing posts?

    Hi there, in the audit trail viewer I’m getting a user, “Unidentified”, publishing and updating posts. For example:

    I can’t find these posts in my Posts tab, so this must be something else.

    What is this, why are they able to log in, and how can I find what’s actually being changed here?

    I am occasionally finding nefarious links in my posts – perhaps that’s what this is?

    These could also be custom post types from another plugin. I don’t honestly know.

    If you’re finding nefarious links, you need to really dig into your site and webhosting to find out what’s possibly in there doing this.

    Ok I wasn’t sure if it was obvious to you what it might be. Since it was under Posts I thought it was directly related to posts.
