I’m having the same issue as well, I have no idea how to go about fixing it though ?? I at least feel like I’m not going crazy anymore seeing that someone else is being bombarded by glitter ponies.

How is this affecting people who don’t even have the Mystique theme downloaded? Probably the most un-funny april fools I’ve ever seen :I

See, all the fixes I’ve found involve the Mystique Theme, which I’ve never installed. :/ So, I don’t know where to look for the evil code snipets.

Same. Inkblot is the only theme I have installed. Gonna keep digging through the code, if I find anything I’ll post it.

Quick question, zerohour…do you happen to use Dreamhost for hosting?

You might want to deactivate your plugins one by one to see if one is doing that; if not switch to the default WP theme to see if it is in your theme.

I guess if this is just april fools bullshit it’ll go away tomorrow, but damn it is inconvenient right now when I need to be updating my site.

Update: If you disable the Webcomic Plugin, it goes away. >:( Hrm.

Oh wow that is annoying for anyone running a webcomic :/ I disabled javascript through my browser and that at least stops it from happening, just gotta remember to enable it later.

Apologies all, this wasn’t actually meant to be in a release. You can disable it by deleting the /webcomic/-/js/admin-special.js file.

I’ve just pushed an update to the plugin directory that removes the offending scripts. Again, apologies for trouble; I didn’t realize that had actually made it into the 4.0.9 release.
