Unhook a function added in the functions file of the child thene?

I know if sounds crazy but I don’t have permission to modify the child theme functions file or upload my own theme. All I have for modification is Genesis Simple Hooks. I need to remove a special header added in the theme files with
add_action( 'genesis_before', 'lab_header' );
Is this possible?
