    Hi

I’ve been struggling with this extension for a while now.

I followed the install steps but i can’t get rid of these Unhealthy tags errors :

    SCREENSHOT

    Add to basket
    Product ID
Too few of the Product IDs included in your Add to basket events match the product IDs in your catalogue.

    Checkout
Add a Checkout event that fires when someone successfully buys something on your site.

    Product ID
Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Checkout events. A Product ID can be any format you choose as long as it matches the format used by your catalogue.

    Value
This should be the total value of the completed order, without commas or currency symbols. Tax or delivery should not be included. For example, if a user completes checkout for a 10 USD item and a 12 USD item, Value would be 22. Example values: 1000, 100.50, 10000.00.

    Currency
If you choose to include Currency with your Checkout events, make sure you follow the ISO 4217 format. If left blank, this will default to your Pinterest billing currency. Example values: USD, GBP, CAD, EUR`

How can I fix this please ?

Where/How can I add the Product IDs it’s requesting ?
How can I add a checkout event ?
How to include Product IDs/Value in checkout events ?

Does this require manually adding something to tpl files ?

I tried placed a test order myself, it didn’t affect the unhealthy tag errors

ps : What happens if these errors aren’t fixed ?

    Hi @dscp8g
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I can understand your concern regarding this.

For checking the tags of your site created by the plugin you can use the Chrome extension “Pinterest Tag Helper
Open Chrome and go to the site you want to check the tags.
    Navigate on your site:

      Visit a Page
      Visit a Category Page
      Add product to Cart
      Place a dummy order.

If all events are showing with no errors, you should contact Pinterest Support or maybe wait until the Tag Health is updated.

Add to cart, checkout event errors go away when a “user” adds an item to the cart and a successful checkout is completed.
You can do this yourself to clear up these errors or wait until a customer does this process.

    Best,
    Diego

    Hey there,

Since we haven’t heard back from the OP in a while, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Hi,

When I check the health of my Pinterest tag on their site, it says Unhealthy.

Further details show that I need to
“Add a Checkout event that fires when someone successfully buys something on your site.”

Including Product ID, Value and Currency.

I installed the Pinterest Tag Helper chrome extension and everything went well apart from when checking out it would not track it. I did a dummy order and the event was not tracked on the Tag Helper either.

    How do I fix this?

    hello,
I have exactly the same problem with the beacons and the same ones that interest me to solve this concern

    hello,
Did you manage to solve it and if so how? thank you
