• The plugin in its present state does not work correctly and sadly the developers do not seem to be able to locate the issue. The problem is that the PUI (Kauf auf Rechnung) payment option often does not load in the iframe. There are also cases when none of the payment options load in the iframe.

It was thought this was an issue with PayPal servers, but I can confim this is not the case. I am using a different plugin now, where there are no issues on the PayPal payment options loading in the iframe.

Until this is fixed, I would caution people to use this plugin. We suffered many lost sales as a result of this plugin and it cost us many days in testing time (often customers do not tell you about problems, but just cancel their orders).

  • Hi @dav74,

very sorry to hear you are having issues with our plugin. I consulted our devs again regarding the problems with the iframe.

If you don’t see the PUI in the iframe with our plugin but you see it with another plugin, this could be due to PayPal caching. Please empty the cart or delete the sessions (WooCommerce->Status->Tools->Clear Customer Sessions), add something to the cart and check if the PUI is visible afterwards.

In case your iframe is completely empty, this needs to be investigated by our devs. I can offer you to contact us at [email protected]. Please mention this thread in your email.

    Kind regards
    Christina

    Hi @vanvox

    Thank you for your reply.
It’s all very well saying that this is down to PayPal caching, but at the end of the day I believe it is in your own interests to look at your plugin and find the problem (caching does not exist on the checkout) . You can see yourself the amount of people having the same issue in your support thread.

I have done a lot of testing of your plugin, and my conclusion is that I believe the issue lies somewhere within your plugin.

A payment plugin for PayPal needs to work flawlessly, as it can account for up to 85% of the orders on a website. One which only works 50% of the time can never seriously be used.

Anyhow, I wish you the best of luck and hope you manage to resolve that in the future. Thank you

    Hi dav74 (@dav74),

    Hi @malekka
    Still interested?

    Hi Dav74,

I have the same problem, sometimes the iframe is working, sometimes it is only showing some payment options, but not all, and sometimes nothing at all is showing. I am still testing on a staging site (thank God), but was also told the problem lies with Paypal…

What other tool are you using, could you tell me? Is this working flawlessly?

pls send to my “spam email” [email protected] or post here

    Hi @dlammers0080

I sent you an email with a link to a PayPal Plus plugin which actually works.
Unfortunately I think you can forget this plugin from Inpsyde as they just cannot get to the bottom of their problem (which is nothing to do with PayPal servers).

It is a shame that PayPal continue to promote this plugin via Inpsyde as their offical plugin supplier.

Can you please send me the link to the working plugin as well, I’m totally done with that Plugin here as well!
