    Hi there,

Getting the following error when a form is being submitted:

Unfortunately, a server issue prevented delivery of your message.

Having checked the server logs, I’ve found the following error is returned when I try to submit the form:

2018/02/12 10:44:02 [error] 24645#24645: *694082 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Warning: array_map(): Argument #2 should be an array in /wp-content/plugins/product-enquiry-for-woocommerce/product-enquiry-for-woocommerce.php on line 826. PHP message: PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /wp-content/plugins/product-enquiry-for-woocommerce/product-enquiry-for-woocommerce.php on line 827.

Emails are sent through SMTP and the plugin settings are set to the correct email. I’ve disabled all the plugins however haven’t been able to revert to a default theme as the site is live.

If you don’t know of a quick fix I’ll get a dev site set up and revert to a default theme too and test again.

    TIA
    Ash

    Hi AshboDev,

We have already released the updated version to 2.4. Please update to this version and let me know if the issue is then resolved for you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to me. Done the update and the site is now running on 2.4 but core isn’t up to date. I’ll run updates on the rest of the site and retry and check the logs and let you know.

    Cheers,
    Ash

    Hello,

Just updated core and all plugins on the site but the same error is in the logs. I’m going to make a local copy of the site, and revert to a default theme.

    Will update you shortly

    Thanks,
    Ash

    Hi again,

I’ve moved the site to local server and get the same error with TwentySeventeen and all plugins disabled except for WooCommerce and the enquiry plugin.

    I’m lost now :'(

    Hi,

In Product Enquiry->Enquiry Settings, you will see an option called ‘Disable Nonce’. You need to check that option so that inquiries are sent successfully.

Let me know if this resolves the issue for you.

    Yes!

That’s the done the trick ??

What’s the reason for that kicking up an error, just so I’m aware for future projects?

    Cheers,
    Ash

    Hi Ash,

The WordPress has a nonce function which checks at the server if the email request is coming from a valid site. When the nonce is failed then this issue occurs.

However, you have to just enable the ‘Disable Nonce’ so that this issue does not occur again.
