Unexpected value in $auth option – Google Ads Linking

    On the setup page “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fgoogle%2Fsetup-mc” there comes this error message:

    Unexpected value in $auth option, got: Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Vendor\Google\Auth\Credentials\InsecureCredentials Object ( [token:Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Vendor\Google\Auth\Credentials\InsecureCredentials:private] => Array ( [access_token] => ) )

    And the Google Ads section just keeps infinite spinning.

    I tried to add the account id via this page admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page and same error comes back, even after de-linking and linking again still error:

    When I check the Ads Connection Status I receive the following response:

    Kindly try these steps:

    1. Ensure your plugins, theme, and WordPress itself are all updated to the latest versions.
    2. Try reconnecting to Google for WooCommerce, but this time in an incognito or private browser window to avoid any cookie or cache-related issues.
    3. If the issue is still happening after steps 1 and 2, I’d suggest doing a conflict test by following this guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
