unexpected T_STRING

  • hey,

    need some help, I had to kick my wordpress from my account!
    Now while I’m trying to install it again, there is this
    “bla bla …unexpected T_STRING in Line 5” what das it mean?
    What have I done wrong?

  • At what part of the install do you see this?
    The rest of the error message would likely be useful (the “bla bla” part in your post).

    “unexpected T_STRING” is a PHP syntax error

    Reupload the WP files again and double check any files that you’ve updated (such as wp-config) to make sure there’s nothing out of place such as a missing semicolon or curly brace.
