• Although I had deselected the personal profile the post was also shared to it when updating the post (it had been originally written prior to the installation of the plugin).

And after another editing&saving the post was again shared to the company profile. In other circumstances this had not happened.

    Hi @geemco,

It’s hard to know exactly what happened here. But if there’s anything I want to emphasise, it is that when editing existing posts, please double check what is set for the “Don’t share this post” checkbox.

I am very certain that if that checkbox is checked for the post, the post won’t share to social media. If you can demonstrate this is not happening, then please let me know. Thanks,

The thing is that I wanted the post to be shared but only to one profile with its checkbox ticked but not to the one I’d manually unticked. What I can add is that a sort of a “saved” message appeared briefly after deselecting the personal profile. This made me thinking that everything should go well.

I guess the second issue needs to be handled in the way you described. But interestingly after the second modification and unexpected sharing the “don’t share” was automatically ticked afterwards (which I had experienced before in other cases when it was ok to share to both profiles).

    Hi @geemco,

Thanks for that info. Perhaps see how you go. What I recommend if you have a situation where a post is being shared to a profile that isn’t selected is to delete the plugin settings and re-connect again. This will permanently solve any sharing to the wrong profile issues. This can be done by going to the “Help” tab in the plugin settings, and the go to the question “How do I clear all plugin settings?” and then click the link. Of course, this will delete the plugin settings, so if you have made any customisations to the settings, take note of this before doing this. It may not be best the thing for you to do, but I did just want to mention that.

    Thanks ??
