    Hi,

I am using the nextgen-gallery-plugin for about 2 years now, the upload stopped working a few months ago, figured it would work again with the next update. Sadly, it didn’t.

I get the following error message when I try to upload pictures with nextgen-gallery:

“An unexpected error occured. This is most likely due to a server misconfiguration. Check your PHP error log or ask your hosting provider for assistance.
    0 images were uploaded”

    .

When i upload the images directly to the FTP into existing gallery-directories, and search for new images in the plugin, it works, but not with direct upload via wordpress.

Plugin and WordPress-Installation are up-to-date. Also deactivated all other plugins, still got the same error-message.

Is there anything else i could check?

    Thanks,
    Martin

@wickedninja – Generally this would be pointing to a permissions issue but since you noted it was working previously that is not likely the case.

Although you appear to have checked for plugin conflicts, it could still be a plugin remnant or artifact causing the conflict; do you use any security plugins and/or caching plugins that might leave things behind when they are only deactivated?

Otherwise, do you recall what has changed on your site since the upload process last worked?

    Hi Cais,

thank you for you support, didn’t work. After completely deinstalling wordpress and reinstalling it, nextgen-gallery works fine again.

    Best regards,
    Martin
