Unexpected Error – Theme Installation

Yo!

Firstly, like many others here, I’m completely new to WP and have very limited knowledge working with hosting services so I’d like to apologize in advance!

Before I posted this topic, I searched and couldn’t really find any straight answer for my question; mods were asking people receiving this error message to post their own topic because each problem is circumstantial, so that’s why I’m doing.

Each time I attempt to install (or more correctly, browse the featured and new themes to attempt to install) a theme, I get this message:

“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

Try again”

I haven’t tried to install a zip file from my own computer yet.

The two reoccurring issues I saw being brought up by mods and other users were websites being “infected with malware, causing it not to work”, so I scanned mine and it came out clean.

And the second being wireless or firewall blocking wordpress? If that would be the error here, how would I go around fixing it?
