Unexpected error occurred…

  • Hi – I am working for a friend on her wordpress website (running on a subdomain). I’ve been having issues (maybe it’s me) but now I am trying to strip back & start a fresh with a new theme. When I go to have a look at the popular themes – it says the following;

    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    I have told her I will get this fixed asap but I am freaking out that I’ve broken it somewhere.

    That means your server’s version of openssl is out of date. You’ll have to contact your hosting provider and ask them to update openssl on your server. The current version of openssl is 1.0.2e.
