• Hi there,

I have read through a load of topics with similar problems but as they are slightly different builds etc their fixes haven’t worked for me.

I am running wordpress on my server as a subdomain wordpress.purefm.com and following the install I am getting the standard ‘unexpected error’ message on the ‘Add new’ pages for both plugins and themes.

  • Hello,

Had a look at your new site – looks pretty amazing!

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Hi gerwyn,

(firstly thanks, we are working hard to get it ready to release to our member)

the issue was there before we added the new theme and there were no plugins active at the start. We have been installing them via ftp to get the plugins on that we want but we are having issues with http requests. So the wordpress news RSS is also not working.
