• Hi,

This is my first time using the forums, so please bare with me.
I encountered a problem today that I’ve never had before and I’m unsure of how to go about fixing it. Things were fine until about mid-day. To the best of my knowledge I didn’t change anything or do anything different than I normally do.

Came up with this error while trying to search for, or click on add new, plugins:

“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration.”

Around the same time it appears on my end one of my plugins is no longer working. Audio Album is no longer allowing me to play audio files on my site.

I’ve a feeling when one gets fixed the other will too, but I don’t know where to start.

    Thanks!

Just noted that the audio player works fine in explorer but not Google chrome or Firefox. Get the same unexpected error in all tree when searching for new plugins.

  • Have you tried disabling the plugin that stopped working to see if that resolved the issue? It’s possible you have a plugin that isn’t compatible with your version of WordPress or is conflicting with another plugin.

I have disabled all plugins, but it didn’t fix the problem. Maybe it will fix itself? ??

    I’m also getting a:

Download failed.: couldn’t connect to host
    Installation Failed

error when trying to reinstall WordPress from the admin dashboard.

The audio issue has resolved itself. Got up this morning and, thankfully, it is working fine. Still have the unexpected error and the download failed error to work out.
