“Unexpected Cart Abandonment Data from Foreign Countries

    Hello Dear Team,

    I’ve installed the Cart Bounty plugin about 8-10 days ago, and I can see the abandonment cart data. However, I’m noticing something strange: most of the data I’m receiving is from countries like France, Singapore, Russia, and the USA, even though my website is India-based. All my work, including SEO and Google Merchant store settings, is focused on Indian audience only. Additionally, my ads are only running in India on Google and Meta.

    So I’m wondering why I’m getting data from outside India, what’s the reason behind that..??

    Thank you for your question here. These most probably are going to be abandoned carts left by bots. You can learn more on how to prevent bots from leaving abandoned carts in our docs.

    To avoid bot-related issues with the cart, can you suggest a simple solution?

    I’m not a developer and don’t know much about coding, so I’d appreciate a good and free solution.

    Hi, sure, you do not need to be a developer to minimize bot traffic. Please follow the guide in our Docs we sent before which includes steps that you can take without requiring developer knowledge like installing a plugin that protects against bots and other solutions.
