Unexpected background color in logo and menu

I had the same problem, Om Prakash Chowdhury helbed me on his blog by using some CSS:

Instead of “red” you can use any colour, I chose #8655

div.site-branding.ats-align-left .wrap {
background: red !important;
}

The menu-question is not solved yet…

Green background has changed by adding this code to style.css file:

div.site-branding.ats-align-left .wrap {
background: none !important;
}

Still working on menu, any way to change background? Thanks for your help @sistersandra!
