@sharonejackson – The most common reason for this to happen is you have set the number of columns for the specific display to four (4) but the content space you have inserted the display into does not have enough room to render four images across with the current thumbnail sizes and/or style definitions in place.

We generally recommend leaving the number of columns options set to the default 0 (zero) so that the images do not unexpectedly create the effect you are seeing.

    Thanks!

Thank you, at first I did the big face/palm and I changed it from 4 to 3. However, the problem persists here:

Is there somewhere else I could have it set to four other than Gallery Settings??

Also tried setting it to zero as you suggested with no change.

@sharonejackson – Did you change the specific inserted display’s settings? Once you have inserted a display via the IGW any changes under Gallery > Gallery Settings will not affect the already inserted displays, the settings will only affect those displays inserted afterward.

    Thanks!

I am sorry, photocrati, but I do not know what “Once you have inserted a display via the IGW” means. Can you say it a different way? Thank you.

@sharonejackson – The IGW is the green button in the TinyMCE editor’s visual tab that you can use to insert a display into your post/page content. Did you use the “green button” to insert the display?

It is working now. I deleted the gallery on the page. I re-inserted, and checked that the column number was “3.” It was. Then I inserted it. I did not change anything. But now, miraculously it shows as it is supposed to.

I guess we scared it into compliance! ??

Thank you so much for your help. The issue is resolved. This is a wonderful plugin.

@sharonejackson – Thanks for the follow-up … it may have been a temporary caching issue.
