Undocumented change to Grouped Products?

    I am noticing some changes to how Grouped Products that are not in the changelog.

    1) In the admin for Simple products, “Grouping” under Linked Products is no longer there. Is this intentional?

    2) The only way to make grouped products work is to go on the Grouped Product. Is this intentional?

    3) On the Cart and Checkout pages, the product used to be displayed as follows:
    [Title of the Grouped Product] → [Title of the Simple Product]

    Right now, it is:
    [Title of the Simple Product]

    I wanted to know if these changes are intentional and if they are, they should be in the changelog

    Just add the follow in the changelog:

    * Grouped products are linked from the parent rather than the children. Children can be in more than one group.

    Simple products can be part of multiple groups with the new system. We’ll update docs too. Thanks

    The new changes to Grouped products seem to make it impossible to prevent them showing in the general catalog / list of products.

    Previously, it was possible to create a Grouped product, then set the “visibility” for the Simple Products to something like “search”, and they would show in the Grouped Product page, but nowhere else. This no longer seems to work.

    The only “visibility” option that seems to work now is Catalog or Visible – meaning they show everywhere else, which is not always desirable.

    Am I wrong in this? Is there a workaround?
