    Hi,

I was surprised to find that my home page has a small margin on the right side and an horizontal scroll. I don’t understand how it came to be. It seems that it has something to do with the H3 title “Découvrez la science…”‘s width or max width.

Can you help me discover why it responds with the horizontal scroll?

    Thank you,
    Rod

  • Hi Rod,

I tested your site on mobile as well as desktop screens and was somehow not able to see any horizontal scroll. Were you able to fix this?

    Hi Nagesh,

No, I wasn’t able to fix it.

The Home page doesn’t have the horizontal scroll on desktop since I made the H1 and H3 titles wide-width instead of full-width (the edges of the titles overflow beyond the limits of the page when full-width). But it keeps a small scroll on mobile, at least in Firefox.

Other pages might have the horizontal scroll or not, and the scroll can be smaller or not exist when I use the inspect tool on Chromium.

Deactivating all plugins didn’t remove the issue.

    Any ideas?

    Hi again,

Interestingly, I have the same horizontal scroll with a small white margin on the right side… but on my other website: https://coursdecompassion.fr/

I wonder if it might have something to do with the tools I use: “inspect” tool on Firefox on desktop, Firefox on mobile, Chromium? I’m puzzled.

Oliver tried to help me, in this thread, and he couldn’t find the issue.
