Understanding plugin resource load across sites

  • I’m planning for two sites, one is a typical website, the other is an e-commerce.

    I know that plugins are shared across both if they are in multi-site, if the e-commerce requires plugins that are heavy in resource, will it affect the loading/speed of the lighter-requirement website?
