    Hi all.

I am having trouble understanding the menu system.

On my first attempt, I created multiple new menus, then put items (pages) in each one. After some research, I found I should create one main menu, then add items (pages) to it.

Which is the correct method, or will both work. There seemd to be no difference to my site use or layout. I am using Twenty Sixteen theme.

    Regards,

    Steve

  • Hello Steve.

I made a little visual guide, even I guess you allready know this by now.

    link

Yes and it’s well documented in the codex:

    Hello Steve,

Please create menu as per location wise,
for eg. Header menu, footer menu.
and assigned pages (your menu items) under the particular menu, It will keep your menu admin panel clear and more convenient.

Hope this screenshot will help you. https://goo.gl/hJDb3G
