    Hello,
so my server hosting people pulled down my website stating the reason that the following Query is causing instability on the server:

    SELECT meta_key, meta_value FROM wp_sitemeta WHERE meta_key IN
    ('site_name', 'siteurl', 'active_sitewide_plugins',
    '_site_transient_timeout_theme_roots', '_site_transient_theme_roots',
    'site_admins', 'can_compress_scripts', 'global_terms_enabled',
    'ms_files_rewriting') AND site_id = 1

by the looks of it, it looks like a global level common query.
could somebody tell me what is the impact of this query on ones website? to know if:
    1. is this a server load issue?
    2. or is the query messed up or something which needs a fix?

its total blackout for me now. need to figure out what went wrong asap and get my site back up and running.

    thanks in advance.

  • That might be a question to go back to your server host about. Your server host would have access to logs or dumps, as well as load and system information related to the problem. The query doesn’t seem particularly devious, but the only way to find out for sure what’s happening is to read through the error logs or look at the server load when running the query to find out.
