• Completely inaccurate shipping rates. We have already lost over $1000 by not checking the rates as quoted by this plugin vs. those charged by ShipStation. Over 99% of the rates for 2nd Day, Next Day, and 3 Day Select are under-quoted and ranges between $1 to $15.

    Contacted tech support, and after providing them with all the logs and screenshots, they still wanted an admin account on our site PLUS our ShipStation credentials. No thank you.

However, it’s important to clarify that the rates displayed by our plugin are returned directly by the carriers based on the weight and dimensions provided by your website. Any discrepancies are likely due to incorrect weight or dimensions set for the products.

    In the screenshots and logs you provided, we noticed that the weight and dimensions between what was quoted in ShipStation and the live rates did not match. This discrepancy is unrelated to our plugin itself, which simply facilitates communication between your website and the carriers—it does not modify or adjust the rates provided by the carrier, unless adjustments are set by the user.

    We offered to help investigate further, but without the necessary access and cooperation, we are unable to assist in resolving the issue. Unfortunately, you chose not to collaborate, which has limited our ability to help.

    Please keep in mind that this is a free plugin, and despite our efforts to support you, the lack of cooperation has prevented us from reaching a resolution.

    In multiple occasions I mentioned that I didn’t mind paying for the PRO version if you guaranteed that it would work. You didn’t.

    Also, why would anyone in the right mind provide you with their ShipStation credentials?

    Regardless, deleted the plugin and installed another one which has been 100% accurate thus far.

    We respect your decision to withhold any information you weren’t comfortable sharing. However, the data you provided did not match the screenshots, which is why our support representative requested additional details. They wanted to ensure that there weren’t any other underlying issues affecting the rates. This level of in-depth support is generally available to customers who subscribe to the PRO version of our plugin.

    As for the rates, it’s important to note that plugin can’t guarantee “accurate rates” because the rates are returned directly by the carrier’s API, based on the information sent from your website. That being said, our PRO version includes advanced features like box packing, which can significantly improve the accuracy of the dimensions and weights used in rate calculations—often leading to more precise shipping quotes that closely align with your actual shipping costs.
