• Help!!

I was on the Manage Posts page in the admin tool, and accidentally clicked on the “Delete” link next to a post instead of the “Edit” link (which are right next to each other). I was given NO CHANCE TO CONFIRM THE DELETION, but the post, with its comments, was immediately obliterated.

And this is not my own blog, but one I was helping to configure for a client.

    ARE YOU &#%$&! SERIOUS????

    Three things:
    1) How is this STUPID OVERSIGHT not mentioned anywhere in the support forum?
    2) Is there any way to retrieve the lost content?
    3) Somebody FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY, PLEASE!

    1. Shouting will get you nowhere. See Viper007Bond’s response below.

    2. If you or the client has a database backup which contains the post, then you can recover it from that.

    3. See Viper007Bond’s response below.

Enable Javascript in your browser. A window will pop-up asking if you’re sure if you want to delete the post if you have Javascript on.
