Hi, the plugin works great, with the exception of getting messages output onto the pages that include a thumbnail gallery. I deactivated every developer/debug plugin but kept getting the messages.

After initially publishing a thumbnail gallery, I get a page with readout like this:

Notice: Undefined index: name in /home/whitney/public_html/14_wp/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/metaboxes/class.cmb-meta-box.php on line 332

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/whitney/public_html/14_wp/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/metaboxes/class.cmb-meta-box.php:332) in /home/whitney/public_html/14_wp/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1179

Then on page itself, a readout like this:

Notice: Undefined variable: post_id in /home/whitney/public_html/14_wp/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/shortcode.php on line 12

Notice: Undefined variable: ftg_layout in /home/whitney/public_html/14_wp/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/shortcode.php on line 13

Notice: Undefined variable: ftg_title in /home/whitney/public_html/14_wp/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/shortcode.php on line 14

Thanks in advance for helping me with this!

Hi there, thanks for the heads up. Can you tell me a little about your WordPress environment so I can try to duplicate this problem? Can you post a link to a screenshot of all your active plugins for example? What version of WordPress are you using? That would help me duplicate the problem. Thanks!

    Thanks for reply, @webdevmattcrom.

I finally remembered I had switched the ‘false’ in define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false) to ‘true’ in ‘wp-config.php’

Thanks for the update, regardless, the plugin shouldn’t be throwing those errors with debug turned on.

I’m currently working on a pretty serious update to this. Watch for it within the next couple weeks.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Unfortunately this plugin is not working for me and I would SO LOVE to get this working:) The thumbnail gallery is not showing on the page where it should be and the exact same thing is happening to me as the user cmeer wrote above. Here is the output I am getting on the pages where the thumbnail should be (I also have debug turned on):

Notice: Undefined variable: post_id in /hermes/waloraweb064/b799/hoc.codyman/snc/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/shortcode.php on line 12 Notice: Undefined variable: ftg_layout in /hermes/waloraweb064/b799/hoc.codyman/snc/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/shortcode.php on line 13 Notice: Undefined variable: ftg_title in /hermes/waloraweb064/b799/hoc.codyman/snc/wp-content/plugins/foothumbnails-for-galleries/includes/shortcode.php on line 14

You can take a look at the page by first going to https://www.stnickscloset.com/private and then going to https://www.stnickscloset.com/?page_id=742
